Bow rehairing service
I have been rehairing bows for some 19 years and have built up an impressive clientele. I provide a full professional service using only natural, white unbleached hair, although coarse black hair is available for double bass bows. As part of the rehair I also remove all rosin deposits from the stick and thoroughly clean all metal work.
A Violin bow rehair costs £30. Please contact me for the costs of repairing bows for other instruments.
I will normally rehair your bow within a couple of days of receipt but ask that you first contact me for my availability.
Have your frog professionally cleaned while your bow is being rehaired.

bow rehair is an increasingly popular way for customers to get their bow to
me.
Please contact me first to check my availability before posting your bow to me. I will give you a date when I will return your bow to you.
Pack your bow into a tube for posting (available from the PO or DIY stores), paying careful attention to the tip of the bow.
Enclose payment of £35, cheques to be made payable to Robert Bray, and include the address to which you would like the bow returned. £35 includes the rehair and first class return postage.
